I'm Adam
Aspiring animator in games and film.

I'm a detail-oriented QA Tester with four years of experience across Frontier Developments, EA Codemasters, TT Games and Proxima, shipping titles on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. I've worked across Functionality, Compliance, Regression and Online Services testing, and I'm confident in JIRA, Mantis, TestRail and Confluence.

But alongside that, I've always been drawn to animation. From an early age I was captivated by the way animated characters and stories could connect with people on a deeper level, and that passion led me to a Masters in Animation at the University of South Wales. I'm now channelling that same eye for detail I've built in QA into my goal of becoming a 3D animator in games and film, where the technical and the creative meet.

I worked as a Freelance QA Tester and Community Manager at Proxima Studio, where I was responsible for keeping builds stable ahead of big industry events like Gamescom and Develop:Brighton. I also managed the studio's Discord, gathering player feedback and crash reports to help shape QA priorities.

2022 - 2023
I executed daily cross-platform smoke tests in TestRail across PC, PlayStation and Xbox dev-kits, catching submission-critical defects during milestone pushes. I wrote detailed JIRA reports and Confluence documentation with replication steps, logs and video evidence, and coordinated with external developers across Europe and Canada to keep builds moving forward.

2021 - 2022
On the QA ITL team I focused on multiplayer stability, online services and Build Verification Testing across PS4, PS5 and PC. I ran full-lobby player tests, validated Esports scenarios, and caught multiplayer stability issues during pre-release that never made it to live services. I also assisted in creatiing and executing smoke tests in TestRail and I also supported post-launch testing for F1 2021  covering seasonal updates, SKU testing, and regression across the live service pipeline.

My first industry role, where I performed destructive testing and compliance checks on LEGO Worlds and LEGO Dimensions across PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo platforms. I tested everything from world generation and build tools to Toy Pad hardware integration and cross-IP transitions, logging all defects in JIRA.
